If you liked the first Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, you should like this game too. Many of the questions left from that game are answered in DA2, and the gameplay has been tweaked to make it even more enjoyable. If you didn't play BG: DA, then this one looks like it'll be even more fun to try. If you absolutely hate dungeon crawls, then you should stay far away from the Dark Alliance series. But for everyone else, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 should provide an enjoyable and rewarding monster-bashing time with a good plot to back it up. Check out the website, which has some cool gameplay movies, here. As for the game, it's apparently finished, but the publishing date is up in the air. There's a slight chance that it will be out before Christmas, but mid-January is a more probably release date.
