It isn't long ago since the Black Isle office closed and the future of the games they were working on is also somewhat unsure. Especially Fallout 3 have been highly expected, which is why the aggrevation was extra huge when the news of this closing was released. Click here to view a couple of the images from Fallout 3.
It does look like there might be some hope down the road, by talking to a person from the dev team behind Fallout 3, I learned that they are trying to obtain the license to the game and continue the development. The information is considered to be very credible.
