You might have got the impression that there's little in Horizons that other games haven't already done. You'd be more-or-less right, too - it has many game mechanics in common with EverQuest, the potential for town building like Shadowbane, and a complex crafting system like Ultima Online or Galaxies. It's certainly a very friendly game, with a forgiving character development system, a flexible interface and an easy learning curve for new MMORPG addicts.
