Temple of Elemental Evil Review

d20 Magazine Rack has tossed up a review of Temple of Elemental Evil, giving Troika's latest RPG an overall score of A-. Check it out:
Overall, Troika's The Temple of Elemental Evil is a fantastic computer gaming experience for any pen-and-paper D&D fan. The number of play options is amazing; this game really rewards a smart use of tactics and understanding of the rules, though those same features can make it a frustrating experience for the complete novice. For those willing to learn the information is there, however it isn't necessary to be a D&D rules lawyer to enjoy the game (though it certainly doesn't hurt!). Some rules implementation errors, as well as a number of minor bugs mar what might otherwise be a fantastic performance. It is a true remake of a classic product; if you enjoyed the original, you'll find this version to be hours of fun and on that and rules implementation alone, this is an (A) level product. Overall, I consider this the best single-player D&D-based CRPG to date.
