Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader offers a mixed bag: a complex, intriguing story that progresses by means of an uninspired quest system. Although the abilities system Lionheart utilizes is well done and interesting, it is completely lost on unimaginative gameplay. While the game features outstanding voice acting, the rest of its audio and visual presentation is somewhat lacking, causing its already bland gameplay to seem even more so. Lionheart imparts a wonderful story that unfortunately is not capitalized on by its bland gameplay.
