Action in Champions of Norrath centers on combat, but there will be non-violent side quests for variety. And while the heart of the game will be the carnage you inflict while completing quests to aid the Elves of Kelethin, there will also be random areas to extend the game's replayability. Whether alone or with a party, certain areas, when entered, will randomly generate an adventure appropriate for your level. In keeping with Snowblind's previous games, the environments look great, especially compared with other PlayStation 2 titles. Champions of Norrath has around fifty different environments to explore, including giant ant hills, goblin caves, beach, a cloud city, and the ocean floor.
