MMORPG is among first of MMORPGs to come to Xbox and Xbox Live

Massively multiplayer online role-playing gaming may never be the same again. Microsoft Game Studios and Level-5, Inc. today announced that True Fantasy Live Online will be coming to Xbox gamers in the United States. Gamers will soon be able to experience a truly unique massively multiplayer online roleplaying experience where the only limit is their imaginations.

(True Fantasy Live Online,) developed by Level-5, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) for Xbox in which hundreds of players can interact and adventure together to gain wealth and fame in a living fantasy world online. (True Fantasy Live Online) immerses players in an illustrated fantasy world where they can fly through the air on broomsticks, don the armor of royal knights and do battle with ferocious monsters, or even lead the simple but satisfying life of a cook who feeds brave adventurers.

(True Fantasy Live Online) was built from the ground up to support the Xbox Live service. (True Fantasy Live Online) is one of the first massively multiplayer online role-playing games to fully support voice communication through the Xbox Communicator headset, enabling players to interact, build alliances and band together to fight enemies in a living and breathing virtual world.

Level-5 Inc. was founded in October 1998 and is based in Fukuoka, Japan. Led by Akihiro Hino, the company made its U.S. debut with the Playstation 2 RPG, "Dark Cloud" in December 2000. Since then, Level-5 released the highly praised "Dark Cloud 2 (Dark Chronicle)" in United States in February 2003. Level-5 is currently working on "Dragon Quest VIII," the latest installment for this highly acclaimed franchise.
