Q: The original press release states that Imperator is "set in a future world", but does not state a specific time period. Approximately what year, with our current calendar, would you imagine this game takes place?

A: One of the things I'm working on is creating a realistic timeline for the evolution of Imperator. While it would be easier to simple say "It's 3000AD and that's it!" I think it is important for the next generation of games to have a much stronger story than the current generation. Thus, I want to create a very believable history from there to here. It is this evolution of the timeline that will determine the final starting time for the game.
