Evan Pongress Interview

PlanetDungeonSiege has posted an interview with Evan Pongress, one of Gas Powered Games' designers that helped work on Dungeon Siege. Here's a teaser:

Q: Who are you and what do you do at Gas Powered Games?

A: My name is Evan Pongress ("Vehement" on the forums) and my current title is "Designer" at Gas Powered Games. I started work here in July of 2001 to help Dungeon Siege through its final crunch period, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to now be a full member of the GPG team.

I'm presently involved with the conception and implementation of story ideas into the game, especially with Non-Interactive Sequences (NIS), otherwise known as the in-game movies. I am also available as a resource to help solve other design-related issues for Chris, Jake, and the Level Designers.

Historically, I also created the gameplay movies that were released to the web, did lots of testing and bug regression in the on-site test lab, and helped Chris with some project coordination (insert fully-automatic weapon fire here) until Jeremy Snook showed up and made it all better.
