NWN does take away some of the excitements of traditional role-playing, such as die-rolling and close interactions between a DM and his/her players. Nevertheless, Neverwinter Nights has definitely expanded the CRPG genre to a new level. It sports a fantastic game engine, enjoyable in both single and multiplayer modes and comes complete with a robust toolset. The game is set to become a benchmark for future games and is a worthy addition to any gamer's collection. I highly recommend it to any traditional CRPG gamer as well as fans of pen and paper role-playing games. Be prepared for Endless Adventures.
