This afternoon, we are taking our PVP server type into open beta, as many people have been requesting, and the two PVP servers will officially launch in two weeks. But there's a twist:

We are wiping Mordred immediately. Everything set to zero, and all are welcome to come and play when the server goes live. For the official launch in two weeks, depending on how many exploits and other bugs we find, we may choose to wipe Mordred clean, or we may decide to allow the two weeks of player time to remain and just call it live. It all depends on the player community. At this time, it doesn't seem likely that we would need to erase the characters, but for the next two weeks, we need to keep that available as an option. We just want you to be aware of the possibility.

We are also putting Gorlas live today Gorlas is a copy of Mordred with all the existing test characters on it, and will serve as the PVP test server.

No matter what, on July 9th there will be a total of three PVP servers running:

Mordred, the original

Andred, same as Mordred but a fresh clean start for those who might be on vacation this week ;)

Gorlas, the PVP test server (which will be an exact copy of Mordred as it is today with all current characters and levels intact, with no more character copies permitted for the time being)
