Also recognize that all may not have worked as you had planned. Some of your characters might behave unexpectedly or a quest might not be as easy to implement as you had planned. Simplification is often the best answer in these situations; added complexity doesn't necessarily correspond to added enjoyment. Many quests and combat scenarios can become more invigorating or even more challenging by reducing them down to their barer components.
