GameSpot is reporting that Interplay has lost its rights to publish BioWare's upcoming Neverwinter Nights. With the recent problems between Interplay and BioWare, it doesn't come as much surprise, but it makes you wonder who will get to publish what will probably be one of the best-selling PC RPGs of all time. Here's a rip from GameSpot's news posting:

BioWare has announced that it has terminated its contract with Interplay Entertainment to publish its upcoming role-playing game, Neverwinter Nights. Despite the announcement, the developer plans to release the Dungeons & Dragons game on schedule in early 2002. A company representative declined to comment on whether BioWare will self-publish the game or if it is currently looking for a new publisher.
