Even though we had seen an older build not less than a month ago, clearly a lot of work has gone into the game since then. Morrowind currently looks nothing short of sensational running on a high-end PC with a GeForce 3. Although the game is currently described as being roughly "60 per cent complete", the engine is very special indeed, providing some marvellously strange fantasy environments and architecture, and a massive free-form game world to explore that provides plenty of variation and challenge.
