Vampire: TM-R Preview

Although the game has been out for over a year on the PC, Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption will soon be hitting the Macintosh. In anticipation of the release, Inside Mac Games has posted a well-written preview of the game, which is very positive. Here's a taste:

The game itself takes place from a third-person perspective, with an interface that is almost entirely mouse-driven. Using the remarkable Nod graphics engine, an original creation of developers Nihilistic, the world of Vampire is depicted in gorgeous detail. Vampire's genius is not in its originality but in rather how well it has combined relatively familiar elements of CRPGs together into a smooth whole. Thus the inventory and spell casting system will be familiar to a veteran Diablo player, while the adventure elements and cut scene-driven plot will keep fans of story-driven titles in suspense.
