HOMM's New Game

It's a brand new look, more detailed than before, and guess what? The combat in New World Computing's Heroes of Might & Magic IV is going to be significantly changed... sounds like for the better. PC.ign sets on our plate a feast of (mostly known but well-summarized) information on the new addictive TBS (turn based strategy) game to be released in the fall. Catch this phrase:

In addition, Heroes III only had 18 classes of heroes and four schools of magic, but the new game contains 11 starting hero classes, and 37 additional advanced classes.

And that's not to mention that in previous games, your heroes topped out at level 24, while heroes now will be able to gain experience up to level 99.

It's only a minor criticism but the flags over the creature's heads with the numbers inside could look a little less diplomatic and with more life... more customized. As they are, they remind me of playing a game of Risk or Diplomacy for some reason. This game is strategy, yes, but it's also a beautiful fantastic world.
