- Despite his relatively small stature, some would say that the Ant is one of Freedom Force's toughest members. This has very little to do with his actual abilities, though, and simply boils down to one simple fact: the Ant hates those who prey on the weak or defenseless. And in his eyes, supervillains are just glorified bullies that need to be taken down a notch or ten.
The upshot of this is that the Ant is also doggedly determined when it comes to besting an opponent, and will often push himself to breaking point to make sure he emerges on top. This has been known to backfire, though, as at his toughest the Ant is still comparatively weak and frail compared to many opponents the team comes across, despite being quite hardy compared to a normal human.
