Though the game has received regular free updates since its launch in 1999, this is the first time that Microsoft has asked players to cough up any cash aside than the monthly subscription fee. The planned retail price for the add-on ($19.95) is rather low, however, and it contains the full game in addition to the add-on and comes with a free month of playtime for both newbies and registered players alike. It also comes with a lot of new content, including a new landmass, new monsters, new quests... and the oft-requested ability to buy and own houses.
