Q: Recent rumors on Lum the Mad's web site have said that there is bad blood, so to speak, going on behind the scenes at Artifact Entertainment. Any truth to the rumors? Any idea how these rumors got started? Do they have any basis in truth, however small, or are they just complexly off based wild accusations of someone trying to make a stab at AE?
A: The only 'bad blood' that I know of exists outside of AE at this time, and the fact that it exists at all is truly unfortunate.
These rumors started weeks ago from people within the company that were not acting in an honorable, or positively intentional way. I used to think that there was 'always some truth' in everything said, but with the things that have been said in the past week, I now know that this is not the case. Anyone can believe anything that they want, and that is what makes the statement "there's always some truth in everything" understandable. There could be a person out there that believes that the world is flat, and for that reason, there is some truth to the statement because one person truly believes it. That is the nature of today's truth, especially on the internet - facts are few and far between, but the swaying capabilities of a single opinion read in an Email powered by personal beliefs, and the fact that negative people are much more boisterous than positive... well, it's unfortunate.
