Anarchy Interview

PC.ign updates us on the latest from the recently-live Anarchy Online Beta 4 phase in an interview with lead programmer, Martin Amor. Here's some artillery:

Q: What has the team been working on most recently?

A: Designers are creating tons of items, esp. tradeskill items, new weapons and new equipment. They are also creating more missions for the ACG (auto-content-generation) system along with more nano formulas and monsters.

The programmers are working on various stuff, a part of them are focusing on stability and nailing down the bugs. There are still quite a few bugs in the game and we are working hard on getting rid of them. We have been caught by surprise by a couple of nasty bugs that brought down the stability but we are finally getting somewhere. Other programmers are working on the AI so that monsters will behave more intelligent and differently. We are also working on making the ACG missions better and include more content in them (e.g. continuous missions where one mission will lead to another etc.) Soon we will begin to optimize the client somewhat more, finish the details around CLODing (continuous level of detail) etc.

He also said they're on track for a June 27th release date. Seems rather optimistic after looking at the above paragraph, but they I'm sure are in crunch mode.
