They come in massive amounts two times every year - lists, comparisons, top games, previews and awards. The first time is the post-E3 roundup, where all the sites gather up their information and, er... regurgitate it in the form of awards and previews. The second time is pre and post-Christmas, where all of the major (and not so major) online sites make up their top games of the year lists.

Obviously we're at the first point, and GameSpot has their Top 20 Games o' E3 ready for your reviewing pleasure.

The best thing about this Top 20 is that it's not so much a list as a page's worth mini-preview of 20 solid games they witnessed. Worthwhile reading, especially if you found this year's coverage difficult to keep track of.
