Atriarch... it's that MMORPG many people are thinking, "hey that looks strangely appealing" (well maybe that's just me thinking out loud). Serafina, the head of World Fusion and great contributor to all things Atriarch, fires off a trivet on the initial government upon release on the message boards:

Hello All :-)

First off, Player-Government is what that Atriarch Dev team dubs, an Advanced Feature. There are several features listed as Advanced. What that means to us at World Fusion is that there is practically a bottomless pit of depth that a feature can have. With all of our Advanced Features, we have chosen to do what we consider the most basic form of it.

I don't want to get your hopes up high on this... at least not for release. I've said several times that it it will most likely be really really ... did I mention really basic at release. The very good news is that as we build Atriarch, we are keeping in mind that we will need to enhance and add features after release... government is one of those features.
