Well, recently it has gone into beta (without an NDA). I have only read one review that gave the game good ratings but stated that they would have to play higher levels before giving a firm opinion.
Great, now if only we had a beta slot! Well, that is where this whole update is leading too. If the big three MMOGs just aren't doing it for you anymore, you can send in your old CD in trade for a Fallen Age beta slot.
Certainly a unique approach to beta testing. Perhaps that Ultima Online CD still does have some use left in it.
Note: Apparently this isn't new news. It's still funny and a great approach to beta. Perhaps some of you were as un-enlightened as me and now we're all that much the wiser.
