According to VE, the French site GameData was one of a number of media sites to receive a European press release about the upcoming expansion to Baldur's Gate II. The title? The Throne of Bhaal. So this just adds another confirmation onto the heap; I'd expect a western press release soon.

On a speculatory tangent:
The Throne of Bhaal... sounds as if your identity crisis is finally going to come to a climax... as you probably will decide to or not to ascend to that evil throne. Maybe the expansion will force you? Probably not but possible if they want a continuing storyline.
