Git ready for a new single-player RPG in the forseeable future being worked on by the Russian developer, Snowball Interactive (very appropriate and catchy... kinda reminiscent of "Blizzard") called Fatherdale: The Guardians of Asgard (oh my, I hope they do see a few... shall we say possible interpretations of the name they've chosen... not that any came across _my_ mind). RPGPlanet is one of the first to bring us a preview of let's just say Fatherdale. A passage for your perusing pleasure:

Fatherdale promises a number of unique features that may attract RPG fans looking for a change of pace. You won't find any elves or orcs in Fatherdale, but a genuinely historical medieval setting, albeit with the addition of the gods and Heroes, and a healthy dose of Viking legend. Snowball claims that the game's setting will reflect the serious research that went into crafting Fatherdale, and that the historically accurate environment of Europe in the 11th century, will create a unique and enjoyable roleplaying experience.
