Before EQ.... To those living in the world of EQ the question of what came before the world of Norrath could very well be answered with apathy. Despite that, try and take some in-between-camping time this week to look at the special 3-part feature Gamespy's running, called the History of the MUD. I took some time to read part 1 and 2 of the series (part 3 should be up soon) and it was almost all surprising (mainly because in the 80's I was almost completely console oriented with the exception of the C64) so there's a chance that it will be to you, too.
