AD&D 3rd Edition coming at ya. GameBanshee presents a look at the upcoming 3rd Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game from Stormfront Studios and brought to us by SSI, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor. You'll find more than 15 screenshots accompanying the preview all there to help produce a vivid picture of what the game will be like. Here's a little of what you can expect:

Animation & Environment

One thing that we haven't seen in Dungeons & Dragons computer games is an interactive environment. Well, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor is going to change this. Expect to see an interactive environment. You'll be able to move tables and chairs to block doors. Want to gain an advantage over your opponent? Just climb on a table to get a combat bonus. Besides the interactive environment, people of SSI are also paying attention to detail. The avatar of your character shows accurately what armor your character is wearing and what weapon he is carrying. The shadow of your character will also reflect your equipment. If you have a shield equipped, then expect to see that shield as part of your shadow.

GameBanshee's Pool of Radiance subsite or the end of the first look will fill you in on the background of Myth Drannor or the Cult of the Dragon.
