Zach Schiel of Stratos Group dropped us an email letting us know that they have posted up a second edition of their article entitled "This Week in Gaming". Here's a bit of what they have to say:

"Truly, this week was just about to be written off as dull. And what’s more is that that assessment was right on-- up until a couple of hours ago, that is. In a shocking announcement, graphics giant NVIDIA, maker of the popular TNT and Geforce lines of graphics chips, announced plans to buy archrival and eternal enemy 3dfx, maker of the Voodoo chain of graphics boards. One of the fiercest competitions in computer history has just ended."
