Rune Review

Straight from the inbox, here's the details on Stratos Group's Rune review:

Zaxxon stomps on the scene with his verdict of on Rune, the
hard-hitting melee FPS from Human Head and Gathering of
Developers. What did he think? Here's a snippet:

While dismembering foe after foe may get a bit boring after doing so for hours at a time, Human Head certainly isn't trying to shortchange the player in terms of content. The single-player campaign is quite long, (over 30 levels, and some of them are quite large) and the environments are varied enough to keep your interest. The game lags a bit in the middle of the campaign, but picks up quite a bit toward the end. (You will be surprised at how the final few levels unfold...) My only big complaint is that after awhile it just loses its appeal. The level design ranges from sub-par to awe-inspiring, but unfortunately the majority of your time is spent in the 'sub-par' areas looking for that one ledge that you can climb up to in order to pull a lever which opens a door to a jump puzzle after which you look for that one ledge... You get my point.
