IGN has posted up a new preview of the upcoming expansion for Blizzard's Diablo II. Here's a small text bite:

The main impression you'll have upon entering the Highlands is that "you're in a warzone." While Diablo II definitely didn't lack action, there was a sort of passive nature to the single player game. As long as you didn't enter a monster's zone of acquisition, the world was pretty static. Now in the Fifth Act you'll witness massive battles between non-player barbarians and unholy hordes.
