Deck13 Interactive's The Surge 2 is easily one of my favorite Dark Souls-inspired action-RPGs. And, having achieved such heights with the second installment of their sci-fi series, they're now looking to have a crack at a Monster Hunter-type game. Which brings us to Atlas Fallen.
Scheduled for a 2023 release, Atlas Fallen will put us in a post-apocalyptic sand-covered fantasy world infested by all sorts of dangerous beasts. And it will be up to us, and our co-op partners, to hunt these beasties and eventually go up against some nefarious gods.
