SpellForce III: Reforced Edition Controller Guide

Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic's RTS/RPG hybrid SpellForce III is scheduled to make its consoled debut on June 7, 2022. And seeing how playing an RTS-adjacent game with a controller may understandably seem to you as something entirely impossible, we now get a couple of trailers showcasing the game's controller functionality.

Here's SpellForce III played with an Xbox controller:

And here you can see the game played on a PlayStation console:

Some extra details:

Vienna, Austria / Munich, Germany, March 25th, 2022 – A lot is going on if you play an RTS game: send those 4 Warg-Riders out to the northern outpost, to get rid of the attacking humans. Make sure, enough workers are collecting wood and iron, to keep the production of new Spearwielders and Hunters going, upgrade that Watchtower on the eastern front. Construct a new Hunting Cabin and finally rally your main army and your heroes, to strike at the enemies' base - all of that in less than 30 seconds, of course, or your opponents will strike first.

Sounds stressful? Well, RTS games are quick but with the right controls, you'll become the perfect console general! In its latest trailer, SpellForce III Reforced shows how exactly playing with a controller works and how easy it is to dominate the battlefield.
