Fallout 76 Update - Invaders from Beyond Update Now Live

Invaders from Beyond, the latest content update for Bethesda's multiplayer survival RPG Fallout 76, is now live alongside a new progression season and some new additions to the game's Fallout Worlds system. The actual update will introduce a series of events tasking you with repelling an alien invasion, while the new season will let you earn a bunch of new unique rewards.

The complete patch notes are over here, and below you'll find a quick overview of the new stuff:

A new threat from above descends upon Appalachia! But it’s unlike any flying Scorchbeast you’ve ever seen…no wait, those are UFOs! The latest update for Fallout 76 is live, bringing players mayhem from another world, a brand-new Season and updates to Fallout Worlds.

NEW EVENTS

Aliens have contacted Appalachia! For a limited time across Appalachia, players may spot UFOs crewed by alien beings in random encounters. Sadly, it doesn’t appear these otherworldly visitors come in peace, so don’t forget your best weapons and gear!

A NEW SEASON EMERGES

Along with the alien event, the latest Fallout 76 update brings players a whole new Season! In Season 8, Vault-Tec and Abraxodyne Chemical team up to bring you a new board full of cosmetics, currency, consumables and more! Additionally, this update now allows players to bulk purchase ranks during a Season instead of unlocking ranks with Atoms individually.

FALLOUT WORLDS UPDATES

That’s not all: This latest update also includes exciting new additions to Fallout Worlds, including the ability to earn SCORE from daily and weekly challenges! (Note that repeatable challenges will remain unearnable during a Fallout Worlds session.) Additionally, this update to Fallout Worlds also includes new settings for PvP, V.A.T.S., C.A.M.P. placement and more, offering players more ways to experiment in their custom Appalachias.
