For this week’s episode of his Matt Chat show, Matt Barton decided to check out the Old School Fantasy RPGs Bundle that you can purchase on Steam. The bundle contains four indie titles - Balrum, Heroes of Steel, Exiled Kingdoms, and The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians, and Matt spends about an hour with each of them.

This bundle brings together four excellent old-school fantasy RPGs. Each game features a deep, hand-crafted fantasy world with lots of lore behind it. All four offer different gameplay, showcasing the styles of western cRPGs that defined the genre: turn-based party tactics, open world exploration, grid-based dungeon crawling, classic hack-and-slash. And every one of these is satisfyingly old-school: challenging, intricate, made by indie developers with a passion for their craft.
