With the upcoming Shadowlands expansion for World of Warcraft already looming on the horizon, we’ll soon get a chance to experience the best part of every WoW expansion - promotional cinematics. According to this announcement, this time around, Blizzard intends to start us off with a four-part animated “Afterlives” series that will premier during this year’s Gamescom, on August 27, 2020.

Just as our choices determine who we are in life – they pave the paths we take in the afterlife. Prepare to delve into four realms of the Shadowlands – Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth – and discover the journeys souls take once they cross the eternal veil.
