Concluding Arkane Studios’ 20th anniversary celebrations, Bethesda brings us one last batch of articles on their official website. As the Arkane 20 celebrations come to a close, we wanted to leave the Arkane community with messages from some of the people in Austin and Lyon who work to create the games you love.

You have all given us so much energy over the years with the ways you’ve engaged with our games. Some of you have put hundreds or even thousands of hours into Prey or the Dishonored games. You’ve maintained wikis, written fanfiction, streamed speedruns, created art, designed and worn cosplay, and celebrated or argued about our game systems. How could we not love you? We plan to take you someplace very intriguing in the near future, and we hope you’ll join us.

I hope for even more interaction with all of you in the many years to come. Both the outpouring of love as well as the constructive criticism are what carry us through the great challenges and experimentation that are needed for us to continue to evolve and keep iterating on the types of games we love and Arkane’s signature take on them. We hope you will continue to support our games, and we promise to do everything in our power to keep pushing the boundaries and surprising you at every turn.
