With a total of $2,054,339 pledged, Owlcat Games’ Kickstarter campaign for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is now officially over. Considering the modest initial goal of $300,000, it’s safe to say that the campaign ended up surpassing expectations, and as such we can now look forward to an absolutely massive feature-rich CRPG.
The final day alone ended up being quite eventful, seeing how the developers ended up squeezing in three extra stretch goals: Crusade magic, an intelligent weapon, and Hunters with their pet dinosaurs. And while the final goal of $2,1m wasn’t reached, it’s safe to assume that all the late backers will be able to get us there eventually.
Here’s what you can expect from the Hunter class:
We are almost at the end of the campaign—and another goal is funded! So this is going to be the last one. Please meet a Hunter—a new class to join the roster and help you bond with any animal companion of your choice. By the way, talking about animals: with this goal, the game will feature dinosaurs! Yes, you get it right—a fierce dinosaur is ready to be your companion or even mount. Crusaders, charge!
$2,100m Dinosaurs + Hunter Class
Here they come! The fierce and mighty giant reptiles may help you in your ventures if you are brave enough to own one as a pet. Improve your bond with a dinosaur or other animal companion by choosing the way of the Hunter, a warrior of the wilds. The hunter class will let you develop the beast to its full potential, making you and your animal friend the most fearsome duo these lands have ever seen. You will also be able to mount your dinosaur companion and ride into battle, causing chaos among the enemy troops.
