Cyberpunk 2077 Coming to Google Stadia

CD Projekt's upcoming open world FPS/RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is currently aiming for an April 16, 2020 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. However, thanks to a Gamescom 2019 announcement, we now know that later that year it will also be coming to Google's cloud-based Stadia platform, joining the likes of Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate III.

The Stadia announcement is accompanied by a new developer diary that highlights Cyberpunk 2077's non-linear nature, reminds us about Keanu Reeves' involvement in the project, and talks about the game's Stadia version. Check it out:

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where your choices shape the story and the world around you.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release April 16th, 2020, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Google Stadia version will launch the same year — additional details will be made available at a later date.
