During this year's Microsoft E3 showcase, the one and only Chris Avellone announced Dying Light 2, a sequel to Techland's survival horror action-adventure Dying Light. With Dying Light 2, it seems like the Polish studio is going for something more narrative-heavy, and adding Chris Avellone as the game's narrative designer should ensure that the high-octane action is supported by a robust branching storyline with plenty of choices and consequences.

Dying Light 2 was announced on-stage by acclaimed game writer Chris Avellone, who is a narrative designer for the game and co-author of its unique setting of the Modern Dark Ages.
Dying Light 2 is set to be released on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. The game is powered by the C-Engine, a new generation of Techland’s in-house technology dedicated to open-world action-adventure and action-RPG games.
