Conan Exiles Enters Early Access Phase #2

According to a press release we've received, Funcom's Conan Exiles is about to enter the second phase of its Early Access, when The Frozen North update comes to PC and the game launches into Xbox One Game Preview, on August 16, 2017. Oslo, Norway – August 10th, 2017 – Only six days to go! On August 16th Conan Exiles launches into Game Preview on Xbox One for the first time along with a major free expansion update for both Xbox One and PC that heralds the start of phase two of Conan Exiles’ Early Access adventure. Today Funcom has released a video that summarizes the journey Conan Exiles has made in the first six months of Early Access, detailing all the new content, features, and the significant improvements the team has done to create a bigger and better game.
Conan Exiles is planned to leave Early Access and see full launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in Q1 2018. While the team has been able to expand and improve the game significantly the first six months of Early Access, there are several months left and the team will continue to work side-by-side with the community to realize Conan Exiles’ full potential.

“I am very proud of the team and the work they have done so far in Early Access,” says Creative Director Joel Bylos. “They have really been working their arses off fixing bugs, squashing exploits, improving core features, and they have also added entire new features and content such as siege warfare, climbing, dungeons, and much more. They have also built this entire expansion update which makes the game bigger and more chock full of features than ever before. We’re certainly not done and we still have a long way to go until full launch, but we are very proud of what Conan Exiles is today and we are very grateful for all the support, feedback, and input we have received from our community thus far.”
Since launching into PC Early Access on January 31 st 2017, the development team has been working tirelessly to introduce new content, improve mechanics, and eradicate bugs and exploits. The team has added siege weapons, a new dungeon, a dye system, new armor and weapons, new decorations, avatar defenses, new building pieces, and much more.
