A tweet on the official Mass Effect Twitter feed alerts us to the team's plan to introduce a new Platinum difficulty option for the game's multiplayer component, though I suppose that's no consolation to those fans who are still holding out for some new single player content despite unconfirmed reports that there won't be any. Still, at least the game isn't being entirely abandoned:
