April 2017 marks a decade since The Lord of the Rings Online's launch. In celebration of this impressive milestone, the developers at Standing Stone Games offer a variety of events for their players to partake in. These include a 12 hour long livestream on April 25th, new quests and in-game festivities, and a special Scavenger Hunt:
For ten years we have had the honor of bringing you the timeless world of Middle-earth. That's right: we can hardly believe it ourselves, but this April is LOTRO's 10th anniversary! We will be updating this page as the month goes on with all the news and events that will be going on to mark this momentous occasion!

A new event for 2017! Lasting from April 20th – July 13th, every week you'll unlock three new quests. Each quest brings us back to the places we have been, and gets us some cool stuff in the process.
