Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar, Cleve Blakemore's RPG that's been in development for an eternity, looks to be finally nearing a release. An update on IndieGoGo informs us that the final 12 custom animations have been added to the game and all that's left now is to finish a promo video and identify distribution avenues. The above link has several new screenshots from the game, but here are a few words from the Cleve himself:
Sample of the 12 final monster animations added to game recently. These were the animations I was originally trying to raise money for in the IndieGoGo campaign, despite not making funding goals I figured out how to get the artwork together anyway. The other 11 not shown are just as good and some of them look even better. These were monster animations either for bosses or critical characters in the storyline that previously had placeholders. Now they finally have their own animations.
Grimoire is finished. Working on the final promo video now but still don't know if it will go up on Steam Greenlight or another distributor like GOG. I am just going to complete it and then figure it out.
