While a recent tweet misled people into thinking David Brevik would be working on a new Diablo game, it's been recently revealed that he's actually going to be working as an advisor with Tencent and Grinding Gear Games for Path of Exile's upcoming launch in China. Here's Chris Wilson's brief confirmation:

Yes, David is an advisor for our Chinese Path of Exile launch. He's working with us and Tencent.
