Stellaris: Leviathan DLC Gets Price and Release Date

The folks at Paradox have recently given us some more information on Leviathan, the first of presumably many "Story Packs" for Stellaris, their grand strategy/4x set in the ultimate frontier: space. The DLC is slated for a release on October 20 and will cost $9.99. For that price, players will be able to access some new content during their playthroughs, including the Guardian race, the independent trade outposts known as Enclaves, and the War in Heaven system that will see Fallen Empires renew their old feuds.

Together with the DLC, Paradox will also be releasing a new patch (codenamed "Heinlein") for the title, which will bring a host of improvement and quality of life features. This means that, whether you're interested in Leviathan or not, new features like auto-exploration and rally points, and overhauls concerning strategic resources, ship classes, and Sector Governors will be available to you. Well, provided you own Stellaris, of course.
