BattleTech "Super-Pre-Alpha" Gameplay Footage

Recently, the folks at Harebrained Schemes have released an update for backers only showcasing the first significant slice of gameplay footage for BattleTech, their latest crowdfunded title. Since then, the video has ended up on many mainstream public channels and has garnered a surprisingly positive reaction for a title still very far from hitting its alpha milestone.
You can watch the 20 minutes of footage embedded below. Do note, however, that the demo still misses a number of features that are planned to be included in the full game and that it includes a large number of bugs at this stage:
