XCOM 2 Coming to PS4 and Xbox One in September

With a short trailer, the developers at Firaxis have announced that XCOM 2, the sequel to their critically acclaimed reboot of the seminal turn-based strategy series, is coming on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6:
The game was originally a PC exclusive and benefitted from an extensive modding community, but frequent reports of performance hiccups and bugs have plagued the game since release, seemingly slowing its momentum.
We'll see how the console versions will fare, but hopefully in the meantime the developers will continue supporting the PC original with more patches and content. Incidentally, it's interesting that this is announced just ahead of E3, and I suppose it means we'll get to see some gameplay demos at the LA expo.
