The second and final expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled Blood and Wine, has been released tonight. The expansion is available on Steam, GOG, SEN Store and Xbox Live, for $19.99/€19.99/£15.99 or as part of the $24.99/€24.99/£19.99 expansion pass. The add-on has already received a number of very positive reviews from the press and was preceded by a substantial patch that overhauled the game's UI among other things.
The expansion adds a completely new region with a new story arc and wraps Geralt's videogame adventures for the foreseeable future and possibly forever, considering CD Projekt have already stated that, even if they were to do a new Witcher title, it wouldn't see Geralt as the protagonist.
