XCOM 2 Prequel Novel Announced

I can't say I know anyone that is particularly interested in the fiction that surrounds the turn-based tactical battles of XCOM, whether that is its current Firaxis incarnation or the original titles from Microprose, but it's presumably the kind of audience that is being targeted with XCOM 2 Resurrection, a tie-in prequel novel that follows the story of Amar Tan, a young guerrilla fighter involved in the fight against ADVENT.
The novel is written by Greg Keyes, who has already penned tie-in novels in The Elder Scrolls universe and his own original fantasy novels:
