Pillars of Eternity: Lords of the Eastern Reach Card Game Kickstarter Launched

You might remember that Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart claimed that a card game based on Pillars of Eternity would be announced soon during an interview with PC Gamer back in April, and that it would be funded through a Kickstarter campaign. I won't blame you if you had forgotten that, but the Kickstarter campaign for the project has launched today, with a funding goal of $30,000. The game is being developed by Zero Radius Games, with design work from Chris Taylor (lead designer on Fallout) and Scott Everts (Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout: New Vegas). Just to clarify, we're talking about a physical card game, not a digital product like Obsidian's own upcoming adaption of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game.

We probably won't follow this project as closely as an actual Kickstarter campaign or new project from Obsidian, but will still keep you updated for any big development.
